I am updating my Frog Dreams page because I've truly failed to grasp the depth of Frog dreams. Here on our
property, they are plentiful and full of song. Spring Peepers, Chorus Frogs, American Toads...They all gather together,
especially at night and trill their darndest to find their fancy. But...certain
frogs, toads, or bullfrogs, passive as they might seem, are voracious eaters and invasive non-natives. South American
Shamans from the Amazon use Frog Medicine (poison taken gently from specific frogs) in their healing ceremonies...the Ancient
Mayan shaman kings used the DMT from the Bufo toad to evoke the ancestors and gods during specific astronomical alignments,
birth or acension dates, before wartime...the visions seen coming forth from a Vision Serpent are specific to the Bufo and
bloodletting rites.
Do not take lightly, a dream of Frog.

If you have had a dream of a frog kissing you, look at the Kambo Tribe from the Amazon. Here is a link
to a description from a ceremony. Try to ask yourself also, what part of the frog is you? Frog lives in both water and land, there is transformation
and connection to the unconscious...going under water, connecting to dreams...perhaps an invitation? Do your research.
Here is a site from Tribe.net on Frog Medicine from the Amazon. Some good reads, worth checking out.
Here is a site from Wiki on the Giant Leaf Frog which is used by various tribes of the Amazon, specifically shamans in healing ceremonies.
Here is a site about the Bufo Marines in Ancient Mayan ceremonies.
"Frog sings the songs that bring the rain and make the
road dirt more bearable. Frog medicine is akin to water energy, and the East on the medicine wheel. Frog teaches
us to honor our tears, for they cleanse the soul. All water rites belong to Frog, including all initiations by water."

"...Frogs have an ancient mythology about them.
Being amphibians with links to the water and the land, they are often associated with the magic of both elements. This
also links them to the lore of faireies and elves. Many shamanic societies-especially North and South American-link
the frog with rain and control of the weather. Its voice is said to call forth the rains.
"Because of its connection
to water, it is also linked to lunar energies (the moon moves the tides of waters upon the planet) and those goddesses associated
with the moon. The frog was an animal attributed to the Egyptian godess Herit, who assisted Isis in her ritual for resurrecting
Osiris...
"Emotions are often associated
with water. Individuals with frog totems are very sensitive to the emotional states of others, and seem to know instinctively
how to act and what to say. They know how to be sincerely sympathetic."
